Excellent ski schools and qualified ski instructors are here to support children and beginners. In this way, snow sports are fun from the very first minute and can be easily learned.

28 cable cars and more than 90 km of slopes lead through the 7 ski resorts of Alta Pusteria with new slope connection. Monte Baranci, Monte Elmo-Croda Rossa, Monte Croce, Waldheim, Dobbiaco and Braies.
New in the Sesto Dolomites ski carousel, is the Ski Area Val Comelico near Padola. The very selective demanding slopes with splendid Cadore panorama can be easily reached from Croda Rossa via Monte Croce.

For last-minute decisions and those who want to do a few extra turns, there is also night skiing offered on Tuesdays and Fridays evening on Haunold slope - 2 minutes from our accommodation.

Also when sledging on the toboggan run near the Haunold chair lift, fun is of course the most important part. Sledging is a must-do during a winter vacation.

A true cross-country skiing paradise with more than 200 km of perfectly groomed cross-country tracks awaits you. The "Nordic Arena" cross-country stadium in Dobbiaco has FIS-homologised tracks. Special highlights are the high-alpine cross-country track on Prato Piazza, which is open from November, and the track in Val di Landro, with the world-renowned view of the Three Peaks. Other tips are the pleasure slopes to Sesto and to Val Fiscalina.

REINDEER Outing on a reindeer-drawn sledge for children

Real Finnish reindeer live at the mountain station of the Croda Rossa ski resort. Children are welcome to enjoy a round on the sledge drawn by the reindeer. An experience, which children will remember for many years to come!
